Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for services provided by Tango 424 Vehicle Security Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Services Covered by This Policy

Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Vehicle theft risk assessments

  • Security consultations and advisory services

  • Coordination of immobiliser and tracker installation

  • Ongoing security support and advice

All services are tailored, time-based, and often involve preparatory work prior to delivery.

 

2. Payments

Prior to the commencement of our services, a proposed plan of action will be agreed with the customer. Once confirmed, full payment for the service is required before the commencement of any work.

This payment covers:

  • Initial consultation

  • Vehicle and model research

  • Crime and intelligence analysis

  • Scheduling and administrative costs

  • Immobiliser/Tracker fitting

Once a booking is confirmed, this payment is non-refundable, except where required by law.

 

3. Cancellation by the Customer

Before Work Has Begun

If you cancel before any work has started, we may, at our discretion, offer:

  • A partial refund, or

  • A credit towards a future booking

This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

After Work Has Begun

Once any part of the service has commenced (including research, risk assessment preparation, or liaison with installers):

  • No refund will be issued

  • This includes situations where the inspection, assessment, or fitting does not proceed due to customer circumstances

 

4. Risk Assessments and Advisory Services

Risk assessments and advisory services are:

  • Bespoke

  • Based on the information provided by the customer

  • Dependent on real-world variables

As such:

  • Completed risk assessments are non-refundable

  • Dissatisfaction with findings or recommendations does not constitute grounds for a refund

 

5. Immobiliser and Tracker Installation

Where immobilisers or trackers are supplied and installed by approved third-party installers:

  • Refunds for hardware or installation issues are governed by the installer’s own terms and warranty

  • Tango 424 Vehicle Security Ltd does not directly install hardware and cannot issue refunds for third-party products

We will, however, assist in liaising with the installer to help resolve any issues.

 

6. Cancellations or Changes by Us

If we are unable to deliver the agreed service due to circumstances within our control:

  • You will be offered a rescheduled appointment or

  • A refund for the undelivered portion of the service

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our reasonable control.

 

7. No Guarantee of Theft Prevention

Our services aim to reduce risk, not eliminate it entirely.

  • No refund will be provided in the event of vehicle theft, attempted theft, or security breach

  • This applies even where all recommendations have been followed

 

8. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
